I Love this little Box

I have a EX490 with 7 TB (1+2+2+2) I have mapped shared drives to my Media Computer and my main PC. I have over 80 HD movies and 30,000 songs available to me from any PC in the house or even the X-Box. In addition I can get to these from My iPhone or iPad from anywhere in the world. Five PC's in the house are backed up to the server as well.
HP - Please bring back the MediaSmart Server...

It is really a shame that HP is discontinuing the MediaSmart line runing Windows Home Server since the product is so good.
I run a 490 with 7TB (1+2+2+2) of storage. The system is simple to use and is fast as long as you don't use transcoding. The back up PC feature is excellent as is Drive Extender.
The ability to hotswap a defective HD out and pop in a new one without loss of data is a godsend.
