Scan photos for archiving
Date:December 12, 2012
The article doesn't tell me how to do it. just makes a couple of general, irrelevant suggestions - nothing relating to how to actually turn a hard copy into a digital file.
The article is a sales piece not a how to manual.

Review of "Hints for Archiving Photos"
Date:July 30, 2012
Considering the purpose of the article I think "Hints for Achiving Photos" is on point. As someone who is thinking about archiving photos, it answered my basic questions such as how to prepare your photos for archiving, what file format to use and what resolution to use for the best long term results. Given the scope of the article, it logically assumes you know how to use the computer and photo software you have chosen to use for your archiving project.

Fed Up with complexity

This article was useless to me. I tells me in genera,l what to do, but not one thing about how to do it! That is " how to archive scanned photos or documents". Look! Think about the "process". ie. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 . These are exactly the, well explained, things one must do in a well defined sequence. And, I could not even print this article!. How can one ever remember a complicated sequence of things to do without printing it? If we can't learn to easily use it, we will quit buying it! Regards, Fed Up!
