Not enough info.

I want to find out if my new DV6 laptop has Quickweb (it seems not!) and which laptops come with it. Or, is this software that I can download from the HP site?

About: What is HP QuickWeb?
Date:January 22, 2011
@havoc &al >>> It seems handy but the info is extremely limited. I agree.
>>> What it it exactly, is it a program? Is it an OS? It is a read-only OS, most probably Linux based installed directly on the mainboard (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_on for details). HP distributed Splashtop in the past (2008) (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Splashtop), but since they bought last year another similar product called HyperSpace, I expect that this one is based on that project.
>>> Is it configurable? Normally, no, since it is loaded in a read-only memory area (like the BIOS is).

It seems handy but the info is extremely limited. What it it exactly, is it a program? Is it an OS? Is it configurable? Its these kinds of things they need to list otherwise its just a nameless program.
