This Article: I have B8850 Printer which uses Vivera Inks and has numerous paper options available. This article focused my attention on when and why to use the different types of papers. The finish and brightness of the paper dramatically affects the end product. My customers do not always agree with my personal paper preferences. This article gave me a better sense of my customer's expectations.
HP Photo products in general:
I recognize that each individual has a "different eye" when looking at photos, and that people tend to have socially reinforced brand preferences. I have had fellow artists print my specific, very complex photos as a test on other brand papers with top-of-the-line printers. Despite their biases, to my eye, the HP papers and inks produce superior photographs.
