The article refers to the "Norton Personal Firewall"...A product that Norton discontinued years ago...
These days all major security suites include firewall protection.
It is clear that this article was written sometime between the release of Windows XP SP2 and the release of Windows Vista...So although the instructions for Windows built in firewall will work for users of Windows XP SP2...Users of Microsoft's newer operating systems might be misled by these instructions.
