Expansion Port Connection
Date:November 24, 2010
The laptop I just purchased has an Expansion Port 3. I was searching the HP website for information on using this Expansion port and not having any luck. I thought I would on this page for sure. But not even a mention of it.

Expansion Ports
Date:November 4, 2010
Over the last six years I've purchased 3 Laptop computers. The frst was stolen. When I purchased a replacement, lo and behold my docking station would no longer work - the old one had Expansion prot 1 and the new Expansion port 2. So I purchased another docking station. The second laptop became dated and very slow. I purchased my third laptop. Guess what? The new conputer has expansion port 3! I'm trying to locate any information on expansion ports or adapters to go from one the the other. This page does not list Expansion port 1, 2, or 3.

This page (and overall site) to find a replacement recharger cable for our LapTop G81-429WN is (as Tennessee Ernie Ford would say) about as useful as a miilk bucket underneath a Bull.
