Iron-on transfers alternative
Date:April 1, 2012
I tried the iron-on transfer, and it worked fine, but the fabric was rather stiff. Therefore, I tried ironing a piece of fabric onto freezer paper, and running the fabric directly through the printer. It looked great, but the color washed out completely. Any ideas?

Printing in RTL (Right to Left)
Date:May 7, 2011
Anyone having problem with printing in reverse for iron-on, probably do not select the paper type as HP Iron-on Transfer. This option should be selected at the time of printing when the print window pops-out. Select the printer's Properties button and when the printer's properties window shows up, select Features tab, then in the "Paper Type" drop-down select more which should bring you several HP paper options. You may see the "HP Iron-on Transfer" paper type when you scroll down. After this selection the print direction should have been set to RTL automatically.

Great info! Really helpful. Definitely would have messed up because I wouldn't have thought about reversing the objects

Photo transfer
Date:January 16, 2011
Good article, but I have a question for anyone to answer. I printed directly on fabric. Photo was amazingly clear. Pressed it with hot, dry iron and then let it dry. Placed under cold water and all the ink came out. What am I doing wrong/ I have photosmart C6280.
