"The word "molasses" describes this machine. A high paced office would do well to keep looking, believe me. It is not for a multi-tasking environment as it is definitely not multi-tasking. I thought all HP machines were dependable and hardworking. This one here is definitely an exception. My view of HP has certainly been tainted with this one."

Great, when you understand its limits
Date:September 4, 2011
"This is a great machine to use: fast printing, multitasking, and long life. There are a ton of oprions for setup, so it isn't a plug and play printer, but that is not its focus. It would be nice if the scanner was TWAIN compliant, but since it is designed to be networked, that is not possible, so scanning to a folder and then editing it works just fine. The auto duplexing ADF is a great feature that is hard to find on printers. Higher standby power usage than some other printers, but lower operating power usage. As it is network based, I was able to skip the horrible HP driver nightmare. Highly recommend."

Complicated scanner

"Good printer-copier.
Would not buy this if scanning is important.
I had to hire IT person to setup scanner and then it is still a multi-step process to scan.

Great machine!
Date:April 29, 2011
"We are a small NYC CPA firm and our server died in March. We had to upgrade our printer for the new server and this machine is fantastic. Everything about it is excellent quality....scanning, copying and printing. We are only 4 people but we generate a ton of paper during tax season. I am contemplating purchasing a second one."

Handy Tool

"We've been using the HP M3035 in our IT Department at a local city hall, and have found it to be a good tool. This unit copies, scans to network folders or email addresses. It is also able to fax (although we don't use it as a fax machine). The printing functions are quick and efficient. It even has a built-in stapler (as a bonus)! I highly recommend the unit as a very handy multi-function machine."
