Good printer...impossible to use

"The quality of the printing on this printer is pretty good. Clear, bright colors. Cartridges are a bit expense, but that is to be expected. In short, when it works, it works well.
The key draw back of this printer is the software support. It is almost impossible to get this printer to work. I work for a company where my laptop is swapped out every 9-12 months. Each time it is, I try to re-install the printer driver. Look out -- you should plan a full day, maybe two, to try to get this to work. HP's support is totally inadequate.
Most folks, I suspect, want to plug the printer in, hit print, and be able to do all the basics. Maybe this printer has terrific bells and whistles, but I'm ready to scrap it because it will not print a simple page without several hours intervention from the Geek Squad"

"Print quality is exceptional, no problems so far. The color output is great. It took about 30 seconds to setup using a Mac."

Prints double sided unless you change everytime
